Former President Donald J. Trump's longstanding accounting firm, Mazars USA, severed relations

The firm, which recently agreed into a legal deal promising to release a variety of financial data from several years before Mr.

 Trump took office and during his early term, has given the House Oversight Committee a first trove of documents

 after a protracted legal battle. In February, Mazars declared that it could no longer stand behind the

ten years of yearly financial statements it had produced for the Trump Organization.
