Liu Yifei was born on August 25, 1987, in Wuhan. At age 8, she started modelling. She had training in piano, dancing, and singing. At age 10, she
immigrated to the United States with her mother, where she spent the next four years. In order to further her modelling and acting career, she went back to China in June 2002.
